Just a little update on day 2. Mom really struggled with nausea today. We think they have figured out a new medication regiment to help her. She had some new pains in her intestinal tract today as well. The nurses tell us this is expected and a result of the rigorous chemo she received for four days. A specific prayer request...that the new medications continue to work on mom's new side effects and that she is able to rest well. Please keep dad in your thoughts and prayers as well. This is just the beginning of his caregiver role and we need to support him as best we can.
