We will be hosting a HLA swabbing event here in the Holland/Grand Rapids area in the coming months but, for those of you who do not live in West Michigan I have an assignment for you. It is super easy, I promise :)
Click on the "Be The Match" link on the right side of the blog. Once you are on the home page, click on "Join the Registry" and then "Join Now". Take ten minutes to fill out the registration and questionnaire.
This is FREE! You will be sent your swabbing kit within two weeks. Your HLA typing will then take four to six weeks to process and then you will officially be on the National registry!
Please consider donating to Be The Match. You will have this option at the end of your registration. This could not be done without financial contributions. The HLA testing kit you will receive in the mail costs $100. Consider making a donation..any amount will help!
